15 Wireless Devices You Should Have
Written by Shikha Mehta

Do you find it a little inconvenient when the plug point is far from the place where you want to operate your phone or laptop from? Or, the cord of your support device is too short? Well, if the answer is yes, then you need to shop for some wireless devices.

Most wireless devices connect to your gadgets via Bluetooth, while some like wireless mouse or keyboard will connect through a USB receiver. A wireless charger and a Wifi router will work a little more differently on the other hand.

Let’s take a look at all these categories and figure out how to solve our little problems with the chords.

Wireless Audio Devices

We all have a range of these audio devices – Bluetooth speakers, earphones, headphones and earbuds are the most popularly used devices for many years now. You probably might be having one of those and might even be needing one of those. Let’s see if you’ve ever tried any of these:

Powerbeats Pro Wireless Earphones

These wireless beats earphones are water and sweat resistant, providing you with a listening time of 9 hours. Available in 8 different colours – black, cloud pink, glacier blue, ivory, lava red, moss, navy blue and spring yellow, these earphones have adjustable hooks that fit comfortably and securely in your ears.

Bose QuietComfort 35 Wireless Headphones

These noise cancelling headphones by Bose have a battery life of 20 hours (on full charge of course). Available in 2 colours – black and silver, these are lightweight and super-comfortable on your ears. The best part is that it is volume optimized, so when a louder song plays, it won’t just burst into your ears.

Beats Solo 3 Bluetooth Headphones

Beats provides you with multiple colour variants for their Bluetooth headphones too – black, red, navy blue, crimson red, white, yellow, rose gold, satin gold and satin silver. Not only does it have a battery life of a whopping 40 hours, but also provides a playback time of 3 hours in low battery, provided you’ve charged it for just 5 minutes.

Bose SoundSport Wireless Headphones

These are in-ear headphones by Bose, available in clear, citron and aqua colours. They’re also resistant to sweat and moisture, providing you with a comfortable fit. The volume optimization feature provides you with a great experience when listening to a variety of music or talking over calls.

Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless Earbuds

These are indeed the best wireless earbuds that you can have. You get to access your Google Assistant or Siri with the tap of a finger, helping you switch between listening to music and taking calls with ease. The best part is that the charging case has 2 extra charges that adds 4 more hours to your 12-hours listening time.

Bose SoundLink Colour Bluetooth Speakers

When it comes to Bluetooth speakers, there is no better choice than Bose. The brand always provides smart speakers that are compact, lightweight, water-resistant and have a wide connectivity range. This one has a range of 30 feet. The colours available are black, navy blue, yellow, white, red and aqua blue.

Wireless Gaming Devices

If you’re a hard-core and passionate gamer, then you do need these devices to play better. Now I’ve included another set of Bluetooth headphone also on this list, because they’re designed specifically for gaming. Let’s take a look at the controllers first though.

Xbox Elite Controller

The Xbox One Elite controller by Microsoft is meant to be one of the most advanced controllers having 6 thumbsticks, 4 paddles, 2 D-pads, hair trigger locks, swappable components and unlimited customization in the app. It’s compatible with both Xbox One and Xbox One S.

Logitech Mouse G502 – Wireless Mouse for Gaming

The difference between a regular wireless mouse and a wireless gaming mouse is that the latter has got a 16k sensor, 11 customizable buttons, 16.8 million colours for lighting and a working range of 16,000 DPI. Its adjustable weights help you balance it and play more smoothly.

KLIM Light V2 Rechargeable Wireless Keyboard

Even a gaming keyboard is meant to be stronger, easier to use and have a higher performance range. You can use this one from a distance of 10 metres and it’s going to last for at least 10 years. This one also has RGB lighting from behind the keys, which makes it easier to use when it’s dark.

SteelSeries Arctis 7 Bluetooth Headset

The main feature you need with a gaming headset is that it should be able to cancel any kind of outside noise for you. This helps you focus on your game better and helps you beat your competitors. Moreover, it has a battery life of 24 hours and works at a range of 40 feet.

Wireless Chargers

Coming to the problem of plug points, it mostly exists in two situations – when you’re overseas and when you’re lazy but have low battery. So, what do you do? The answer is simple – use portable chargers that don’t have plugs and cords. Yes, you get these and they work better than it sounds.

Samsung Wireless Charger

This super-sleek charging pad by Samsung can help you charge you phone even inside your bag. The magnetic surface will keep the phone on it safely. Compatible with almost every smartphone, all you have to do to use this is keep your phone on it. Now the charger itself may need charging since it’s wireless, for which you’ll get a USB cable.

Apple Wireless Charger

Is it possible that Apple doesn’t have a device for something that other brands do? Their charging pad is in fact compatible with all iPhones as well as their Air Pods. You might need to charge it with the USB from time to time, but once it has the power, it charges your phone really quickly.

Wireless Broadband Devices

Now, we come to something that most of us probably already have – wireless internet connection. The problem here probably isn’t the fact that you don’t have it, but perhaps the routers you’re using suck. Here’s what you can use instead:

Amazon Eero 6 Wireless Router

A truly wireless Wifi router, that doesn’t need wires for even the setup. You’ll take only 7 minutes to set this up because you’ll be doing it through the app. The Wifi has a speed of 900 Mbps and covers an area of up to 1500 square feet.

TP-Link Omada AC1350 Wireless Access Point

Another router that needs an app in your phone for its setup instead of wires and cables. The Wifi has a speed of 450-867 Mbps and is an excellent choice for wireless internet connection in an office space. The Omada app is very user-friendly, which makes it easier for you to use it.

Netgear Wifi Repeater and Extender

If you want to use your Wifi for way too many devices over a large area, then consider using this extender. It allows you to cover an extra 600 square feet, add 10 extra devices and provides a speed of 300 Mbps. Additionally, it has a plug point just in case you want a wired connection for a device temporarily.

Which Ones Are You Planning to Buy?

Be it something as simple as a charger or something as fancy as a gaming console, the only devices that we can operate seamlessly are wireless ones. Cords, plugs and wires tend to restrict our movements while a free, wireless device can be operated from a distance too.

Which kind of a device do you need currently?
